Skowhegan Parks & Recreation Department Winter Carnival, Craft Fair, and Family Dance
12 p.m.-3:30 p.m. | Skowhegan Community Center (39 Poulin Dr, Skowhegan)
Join the Skowhegan Parks & Recreation Department for a Winter Carnival, Craft Fair, and Family Dance! There will be snacks, hot chocolate, games, cookie decorating, craft vendors, and more!

Tuesday, February 18

Yeti Hunt
12 p.m - 2 p.m. | Lake George Regional Park, WEST

Join the Skowhegan Outdoors team to find the Yeti hiding in the trails at Lake George Regional Park. We will have to be careful as we embark through the trails. Yetis are known for being shy, and they blend in so well during this time of year! This makes them experts when it comes to hiding from people. We look forward to seeing you there and helping us track down the Yeti!

Wednesday, February 19

Fun Day in the Park with Skowhegan Outdoors and R.E.A.C.H.
12 p.m. | Coburn Park
Experience the thrill of snow day fun with R.E.A.C.H.! Join us for an afternoon of excitement, laughter, and snow day adventures. Whether its building snowmen, having a snowball fight, or just enjoying the winter wonderland, it's a day of pure joy for everyone. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and conditions. Warm and sturdy footwear is recommended.

Thursday, February 20
Snow-Shoe Stroll and Story Walk with Skowhegan Outdoors and Move More Kids
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. | Lake George Regional Park, WEST
Bundle up and join us for a magical snow-shoe walk at Lake George! We'll be exploring a brand-new Story walk, where the snowy woods come alive with pages of a delightful tale along the trail. This family friendly adventure is the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of winter while adding a little literary twist to your outdoor fun.

Guest Bartenders: The Skowhegan Fire Department!
4 p.m. - 7 p.m. | Unwined (151 Water Street, Skowhegan)
Skowhegan Fire Department will be back behind the bar for a special fundraiser, collecting tips for the Skowhegan Fire Association non-profit. A portion of proceeds from some special drinks will be donated as well!

Weather depending, there will be a fire pit out back with s'mores for the kiddos!

Friday, February 21

Cross-Country Ski Clinic with Skowhegan Outdoors
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Lakewood Gold Course
Get ready to hit the trails and glide your way into winter fun? Join us for a cross-country ski clinic at the scenic Lakewood Golf Course! Whether you're brand new to skiing or looking to sharpen your skills, this clinic is a great way to get outside, stay active, and enjoy the snowy season.

Saturday, February 22

Skijor Skowhegan presented by Baxter Brewing Company
11 a.m.-4 p.m. | Skowhegan Fairgrounds, Skowhegan
We'll bring spectators back to the fairgrounds for 2024 to watch skiers and snowboards navigate a groomed track outfitted with gates, jumps, and rings while being pulled by a rope behind a horse and rider! Register your team here!

Parking is $20 per car but otherwise free for spectators.

Food Vendors! 
11 a.m.-4 p.m. | Skowhegan Fairgrounds, Skowhegan
